Most GPS tracking devices record data every few minutes to maximize battery life.
The Victoria Real-Time Tracking System takes a technological leap forward with a
GPS tracking unit that updates its position every 10 seconds if it is traveling
more than 10 miles per hour, and every 20 feet if the device is moving less than
10 miles per hour. This battery-operated, lightweight unit is suitable for
vehicle tracking or personal tracking and it requires NO ANNUAL CONTRACT!
This means you can "pay as you go" one month at a time, rather than being locked
into a contract like some other tracking systems.
There is no software to install with this system. The Victoria Tracking system
uses Microsoft Virtual Earth for mapping and all the data is stored on secure company
server. The consumer has the freedom to view a vehicle’s real time location as well
as a 90-day travel history from any computer with Web access. If used for
fleet management, anywhere from one to more than 500 vehicles can be tracked on
a screen at once.

The Victoria’s lithium-ion battery runs for up to 10 hours on a charge.
Recharge it in a USB port or a standard wall outlet. The Victoria Tracking System
will also run off a cigarette lighter adapter accessory.
The Victoria Tracking System is slightly smaller than a deck of cards: about
2 ¼” wide, 4” long and 1”deep. A clip is provided on the housing for attaching to
a sun visor, backpack or purse. The powerful antenna is internal, so there are no
wires to connect.
The Victoria Tracking System’s signal capture is so good, location reports will
be accurate to within eight inches and speed reports within ¼ mph.
Unlimited monthly service is a flat rate of $39.95 per month through the ATT
Digital Cellular Network. Activation charges may apply.
When viewing vehicle tracking data, click on the vehicle icon and a box appears
with that vehicles’ latitude, longitude, direction, and the exact time of the last
update. Among special features is an alert system if a vehicle breaches a geographic
or speed boundary; and a multi-faceted system for generating reports.

Data Plan:
Monthly data plan is $39.95 a month for 10-second updating and $49.95
a month for 5-second updating. These plans are month to month and can
be canceled without penalty. If the customer shuts off their service,
they will have to pay the $29.95 activation fee again to restart service.
If the customer activates mid month, they will pay the pro-rated balance
for the current month and the entire next month. Cancellations made
during the month are still active until the end of that month.
